West Australians please note:

As of July 1st 2013 we will not be posting seeds or plants to Western Australia due to the unreasonable tax now imposed by the WA Government.

There will now be a $56 Inspection Fee, to be paid by the receiver on every seed order coming from outside Western Australia

We will miss all of our loyal customers in WA and hope that common sense will prevail sooner rather than later. (more info)

It will still be possible for retail outlets in WA to buy bulk seed and we will facilitate in any way that we can, but that does seem the only option that you have.

Beautanicals Herbs and Seeds:

At Beautanicals, we are proud of the fact that we sell the seeds and plants that we grow in our gardens.

When shopping, please remember that seed is collected in one cart but potted plants from Herb Nursery are deposited into another cart.

Combined postage of seeds and plant can only be processed on our Australian Gardener website.

We can send seeds anywhere in the world but cannot send live plant outside Australia, to Tasmania or Western Australia.

All seed is organically grown, bio-dynamically tended, garden hardened and open pollinated.
We grow the plants, harvest the seed, clean and winnow, and pack your order ourselves.

The Medicinal, Food and other plants that are listed here are approximately half of our collection.
For a more or less complete list of the plants growing in our gardens browse through our plant list on the Botanical Name search page.

We have been growing and using herbs in our everyday lives for over 30 years and it has become a way of life.

Buying herb and vegetable seeds is the most economical way to start your garden.
We are not open to the public except by arrangement, and we grow the herbs in gardens, not hothouses so that they are open pollinated and climate hardened.

We have been selling our own seed online since 2004.
Even though we do supply some of Australia's leading Retail Nurseries and Research facilities with seed, our main focus is on the home gardener wanting to grow the plants that can enhance their lives.

Set in the Mary Valley, Queensland, Australia, all of the herbs for sale in any form are directly from the gardens that we have planted, initially to supply ourselves with the necessary food and medicine.
All seed is harvested at it's correct time and, apart from those seeds that have a long life span or dormancy, we will only sell seed that is fresh from our last harvest.
We do not use any synthetic chemicals at all, and garden in a bio-dynamic, sustainable way as seems only natural.

Buy a PayPal Gift Certificate to any value, to be redeemed whenever you wish, as incrementally as you wish.
The Gift Certificates are redeemable through our Australian Gardener website which allows, seed, plants and dried herb to be combined in one package.

Buying seed from Beautanicals

Because we are constantly planting seeds to ensure their freshness & viability, we often have plants to sell as well.

These are listed on our new Nursery site.

We are constantly updating and increasing the range onsite as we are comfortable that they can be easily grown.
Unfortunately, when we do run out of a particular seed, we are out until next harvest.

Pokr Root

We treat our gardens,at the appropriate time, with Biodynamic preparations only and fertilize with Comfrey and, twice a year, with a kelp based preparation.

We are current members of Biodynamic AgriCulture Australia.

The success of our seeds in germination is important to us so, if you cannot germinate the seeds after following the instructions either on the seed packets or on the individual webpage, let us know and we will gladly refund the purchase price of the troublesome seeds.

We cannot see the point in replacing the seeds, as each variety is fresh from our last harvest and tested by us, physically, for germination viability.

We understand that some seed is difficult to germinate and is best planted by an experienced gardener.

We have tried to indicate the degree of difficulty where appropriate.
