Beautanicals Herbs and Seeds 

At Beautanicals, we are very proud of the fact that we sell only seeds and plants that we have have grown in our gardens.

Calaespinia

We grow the plants, harvest the seed, clean and winnow, and pack your order ourselves.

We buy seed, in the first instance, to plant in our gardens, but only sell the seed that we have raised.

We are always interested in buying new seed but never to resell.

The Medicinal, Food and other plants that are listed here are approximately half of our collection.

Red Lion
One of the advantages in growing herbs and vegetables is that they are the real survivors of the plant kingdom, and if you consider their minimal needs, they will thrive and serve you well.

We even have a  KIDS PACK of fun seeds to get them started as well.

Kohlrabi
We have been growing and using herbs in our everyday lives for over 30 years and it has become  a way of life.

 Into the OrchardWe are not open to the public except by arrangement, and we grow the herbs in gardens, not hothouses so that they are open pollinated and climate hardened. We have been selling our seed online since 2004.

Even though we do supply some of Australia's leading Retail Nurseries and Research facilities with seed, our main focus is on the home gardener wanting to grow the plants that can enhance their lives.

Where we are.......

Set in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland, Australia, all of the herbs for sale in any form are directly from the gardens that we have planted, initially to supply ourselves with the necessary food and medicine.
Lawn Chamomile

All seed is harvested at it's correct time and, apart from those seeds that have a long life span or dormancy, we will only sell seed that is fresh from our last harvest.

Our gardens are watered with the famous natural spring water filtered through the sandstone on which the village is built.

We do not use any synthetic chemicals at all, and garden in a bio-dynamic, sustainable way as seems only natural.

Atropa belladonna
Because we are constantly planting seeds to ensure their freshness & viability, we often have plants to sell as well. These are listed on our new Nursery site.

Daily Orders ready to be posted.We are constantly updating and increasing the range onsite as we are comfortable that they can be easily grown.

Unfortunately, when we do run out of a particular seed, we are out until next harvest.

 

If you contact us and 'pencil in' a request, we will reply to you when we have harvested that crop.

We treat our gardens, at the appropriate time, with Biodynamic preparations only and fertilize with Comfrey and, twice a year, with a kelp based preparation.

We are current members of Biodynamics Far North Queensland and Biodynamic AgriCulture Australia.
