It grows
well and actively from seed and once established will
happily spread by root runner and self seeding to create an

The flowers are collected during spring and can be added to
your salad.
The slight laxative effect can be beneficial.
Probably because of the presence of Salicylic acid in the
leaves and flowers, it makes a great 'calming' herb,
relieving throat complaints as well.

is great for spasmodic coughs as well as rheumatism of the
