A handsome tree which may reach up to 6m in height.

Spring and summer gives a fantastic display of masses of perfect white blooms (on one tree), purple blooms (on another) and pink blooms (on yet another).

 Bauhinia's have a very subtle perfume that surrounds the garden.
The seeds propagate very easily.

Simply place into good quality seed raising mix, not too deep, and cover very lightly with some sand.

This holds the moisture in. Place the Bauhinia seeds in a sunny but not too hot position for them to geminate.
