Bellis perennis
English Daisy

Compositae

You just can't do without this little wonder.
English Daisy seeds propagate very easily.  Sown on the surface of the soil the tiny seeds are up and about in only three or four days.

As the plant is perennial it will continue to grow and spread all the while reseeding itself to continue your enjoyment.

English Daisy works well as a groundcover but does not much like the very hot afternoon sun.

We use the flowering tops of Bellis as a remedy and dry the herb during Autumn for a constant supply.

The older we get, the more we use the herb.
