Our Echinacea have flowered all
through spring, summer and autumn. They will die down over
winter then rise again in early spring. Feed well to
encourage flower. The root may be harvested when the plant
is about 2-3 years old depending on how well you have looked
after the plant.
Sow Echinacea seeds
in late spring or at a temperature of at least 13° C to
germinate.
Plant out in an area that you wish to leave them undisturbed
for many years. Water and
mulch well but take care not to disturb the roots too much.
Plant in full sun to partial shade.
